Singer Dalal Abu Amneh detained for supporting Palestine released

Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh, who was detained in his home in Nazareth after reacting on social media to Israel's attacks on Gaza, was released.

Artist Dalal Abu Amneh, who was detained in Israel for supporting Palestine, announced on his Instagram account that he was released after two days of solitary confinement.

Amneh described his experiences during the detention: “They tried to dehumanize me, silence me and humiliate me in every way. They insulted me, handcuffed my hands and feet. By doing this, they only made me more honorable.”.

Thanking everyone for their support during this process, the artist said that he will continue to defend the truth.

On October 16, Dalal Abu Amneh posted on his Facebook account the phrase “There is no victor but Allah” from verse 21 of Surah Yusuf in the Holy Quran, in response to Israel's attacks on Gaza.
