Oil Wells and the Conscience of Capital

For capitalism, even death is an economic variable.

Capitalism does not value human beings; it puts a price on them.
And that price is often lower than a barrel of oil.

Donald Trump comes up with a new definition of “morality” in the middle of a war:

“Let's leave energy infrastructures untouched.”

This is the crystal clear summary of the imperialist mind.
Human life is negotiable, but oil wells are untouchable.

Cities can be leveled.
Children could be trapped under the rubble.
Hospitals can be hit.

But a gas field?
A pipeline?
A refinery?
No...

They are the heart of the system.
They are the true owners of “civilization”.

What happens if South Pars Gas Field is hit?
Life was disrupted in Iran...
Bills would go up in Europe...
In India, cheap labor is expensive...

Do you see it?
In a single sentence, the whole meaning of man is solved:
Man is a link in the chain of production.
If it is cheap, it is valuable, or it is nothing.

For capitalism, even death is an economic variable.
A city burns: tragedy.
An oil well burns: crisis.

That is the difference.

The war of this order is not just for the land; it is for the flow.

For the uninterrupted circulation of capital...
So that there is no blockage in the arteries of energy, money and exploitation...

The message from Trump's side is clear:

“You can tear it down... but don't disrupt the system.”

Because for imperialism the hierarchy of values is clear:
First oil, then the market, then people.

The tracks of tanks can run over children,
but not over a pipeline.
Because that line is the holy book of this age;
and it's not just gas that's flowing through it,
is the rotten conscience of humanity.

And we are still asking:
Why are these wars happening?

The answer is simple:
Not for man.
In spite of the human being.

Because in this system, the value of the human being is measured by its positive impact on the market.
The dead and the living are measured by this yardstick.
