The Bill of Captivity, Not Freedom: Great Purge in CHP, Second Wave at the Door

The waters seem to have warmed up enough, even boiled over, for the second stage, which is to start touching the core of the CHP headquarters, namely those with immunity, especially Özgür Bey.

When talking about a “purification” process in the CHP, it should be noted again that this process will take place in 2 stages.

The first stage, that is, the part related to the “Ekrem İmamoğlu criminal organization“ (as determined by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and reflected to the public by the media). This part is on track and this process is progressing day by day. There will be much more to see.

The waters seem to have warmed up enough, even boiled over, for the second stage, which is to start touching the core of the CHP headquarters, namely those with immunity, especially Mr. Özgür. Those sitting in comfortable rooms at the CHP headquarters are likely to be subjected to small operations in the near future. It is even imminent. Therefore, should Mr. Özgür make new moves, or at best increase the dose of the “delaying agent” in order to prevent the chairmanship of the CHP from being vacated through the judiciary?

All of these sentences have a basis. We are responsible not only for watching the developments on the political scene but also for evaluating them. And of course we have to ask questions, to question. .

For some reason, Mr. Özgür has not uttered the phrases “128 billion dollars, gangs of 5, paramilitary forces...etc’ for nearly 30 months. And he has not even made the slightest description of Erdoğan, let alone a sentence like ”Dictator corrupt“. In fact, he has brought his relationship with Erdoğan to the level of ”normalization“. These and many more are the concrete facts in front of us. It is possible to give many more examples. .

It would not be an exaggeration to say that Mr. Özgür has brought his relationship with Erdoğan to the level of “ingratiation”. His loudest criticisms of Erdoğan have consisted of sentences defined as “platitudes” in politics. “Let it be this for the retirees, that for the workers, the diesel has been raised .....”. He has passed the day with completely empty platitudes and politically unproductive gaslighting sentences.

While the relations with Erdoğan continued in this way, he gathered his own voters “at rallies with no political return” and designed his base as a base that “listens” and sometimes “gives gas”. There are examples of this again. With the Red Card, with turning the lights on and off, with let's gather there and shout slogans, with the lights of cell phones on the bus, with songs and folk songs ...... passively gassed and gassed. In other words, he has never been in a sincere and effective oppositional attitude. It has gassed the masses and turned them into masses that will not cause problems.

Özgür Özel, who has maximized his relations with Erdoğan and pacified his own mass, has also created a problem of internal party management. Not only the relations with Erdoğan or the public, but also the relations within the party. This is the most crucial point. .

The situation within the party gives the following picture. In the light of the information reflected in the indictments, the media and the public opinion, CHP has unfortunately become synonymous with “corruption, theft and bribes ....”. Yes, the crimes and accusations mentioned in the indictments and media have not yet been finalized and the accused have not been sentenced. This is true. But it is also true that the evidence that has emerged is too serious to be dismissed by saying “We are being framed”.

Bank receipts, title deed records, SSI entries, audio recordings, video footage .... All of these are objective, material, concrete evidence. Not even counting the confessors. In other words, is it possible to get rid of so much evidence by saying “They are all fake”? And there is no one who can call the evidence “fake“, especially Mr. Özgür. Of course, let's wait for the judicial decision, but “shouldn't we put our minds aside and question?” These are not the only things that happened in the CHP. It has gone as far as 18-20 year old girls being caught in hotel rooms with 55-60 year old mayors. While the state's police, the state's cameras and the state's images are in the open, what more of this are we going to say “let's wait for the court's decision” and keep silent. .

“To say “let's wait for the verdict of the courts“ and just sit silent without the outcome is to destroy the concepts of ”Justice, Morality and Conscience“ in human beings. Of course, we are not saying that we should hang, cut and lynch without the result of the court, but ”keeping silent" is also shameful for the society. Especially, embracing these situations is not decay in itself, but destruction. .

We cannot cover up the fact that there are universal legal norms with the fact that there are universal moral norms. The basic element that enables the formation of legal norms is already moral norms, and it is not possible to respect the law that does not provide justice. .

It is important to underline an important and contradictory situation. There is a mass of people who are “convinced” that those currently detained have committed a crime, pointing to the evidence presented in the courts. These people are constantly being told “The judiciary has not made a decision, let the judiciary decide, you cannot decide”. And these people are constantly being advised to “withdraw their convictions“. Then shouldn't the same thing be said to those who defend those who are in detention and say “They are innocent, they are clean”? Then how can you declare these detainees innocent without a judicial decision? Then you cannot declare anyone innocent either, shouldn't you say “The judiciary has not decided, let the judiciary decide, you cannot decide”. On what grounds can someone who has not been cleared by the judiciary be called ‘clean’? .

We've gone on long enough. .
Mr. Özgür's relationship with Erdoğan is obvious. .
Mr. Özgür's relationship with his own voters/public is obvious. .
We exemplified these relationships in a concrete way.

However, when Mr. Özgür's stance on what is going on within the CHP is obvious - no accusation intended - the perception of Mr. Özgür is naturally shaped with question marks.

In other words, when Mr. Özgür makes moves that relax Erdoğan's hand instead of making a politically effective opposition, our evaluations are based on this.

Ozgur. Bey is making these moves as a matter of political balance or for different reasons. Is there any reason for Mr. Özgür to be afraid of Erdogan? What is the reason for Mr. Özgür's silence? Does Erdogan want to control the opposition through Mr. Özgür? Has the process of “normalization” evolved into a process of “agreement”? In short, it is necessary to ask the question whether Erdogan is managing the CHP through Mr. Özgür with the radish in his hand? .

For these reasons, if Özgür Özel has any deficit or offense, he should share it with the public. And unfortunately, when we look at Mr. Özgür's behavior, we see a person who is far from seriousness. Especially in his speeches on the bus, he reminds us that he is not the CHP chairman, but someone who is trying to get the stands going. But from time to time, we can clearly see the unhealthy atmosphere in the CHP in Özgür Özel's gestures and facial expressions.

These are certainly not words said to humiliate Mr. Özgür, but should be seen as my sincere observations.

Although Mr. Özgür's situation is sad, the process continues. During the purification process, the CHP's municipalities and ecosystem have been touched, but the CHP's corporate identity and party leadership have not yet been touched. When we combine the news in the media and the developments in politics, we cannot help but ask the question ‘Is the second stage of the purification process in the CHP just around the corner?.
