I wanted to scribble something on this subject, as everyone is pouring their hearts out for Valentine's Day on February 14th.
Love is the first spark that burns within oneself, every light that spills out is first born inside, grows inside, and finds its truth inside. In order to understand the reality behind all those days that are put in front of society today, called “Special Days”, which direct our emotions, squeeze us into certain molds, feed us with consumption and grow through manipulation, we must first return to ourselves. February 14, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Children's Day and countless others are all invisible tools used by the ruling powers to shape society. We often believe in the sanctity of these tools and surrender our own values to the dates they set.
Every day is precious to me, it is not the calendar that determines the meaning of the day, but the true perspective I have built within myself. 365 days of the year, every hour of the day, as well as the reality of life, every event and phenomenon in it is valuable to me. I weigh those values in my own world of thought, I make sense of them in my own conscience, no power can dictate to me which day is sacred.
Because there are countless days in life that are imposed on us, that manipulate our emotions, that bind us to the wheel of consumption and are magnified by manipulation. The question of whether these days really represent Love, Loyalty, Respect, or whether they just inflate our emotions and return them to someone's coffers as daily revenue shakes one to the core. The way to find a real answer to this question is to go back to ourselves first. It is through honestly questioning how much we love ourselves, how we comprehend love, what love means to us. Because the love that someone who does not love himself/herself carries to the outside world is incomplete, broken and open to manipulation. The love of someone who doesn't know himself, who doesn't see the light within himself, walks around like a shadow on the outside, appearing to exist but not being real. Love is first born within, everything that overflows outward is a reflection of that inner birth.
The great force we call life is a phenomenon that exists through love and integrates with the reality of the four elements, Fire, Air, Water and Earth, which bring us into being. Fire represents Will, Air Breath and speech, Water Reason and intuition, Earth Labor and roots. The coming together of these four elements are the foundation stones that establish both the material and spiritual existence of human beings. If we, as human beings, want to embrace this wholeness, we must first understand the representation of life as one and as a whole, and then grasp the place of love among the elements that make up this foundation. Because love is the invisible bridge that connects these elements to each other, Fire-Burns, Water-Supplies, Soil-Fertilizes, Air-Breaths. Without love, no element can attain its meaning, no being can complete its integrity. Love is the mortar of existence, without it no structure can stand.
Because love is the essence of the universe, which we call One and Whole. It is both the source and the result of the Nature-Human relationship that constitutes the unity of the universe. We can only read the causes and consequences of the great transformation we call the Nature-Human contradiction through love. If we break away from this reality, nothing can meet its own reality. Even what we defend, what we believe in, what we think we value becomes nothing but a manipulation. Love is the strongest bond that connects human beings to the Universe, and when that bond is severed, human beings move away from both themselves and their own reality. Love is the light that connects the divine spark within man to the infinity of the universe, when that light goes out, man loses his direction in the darkness. Love is the root, the trunk and the branch reaching to the sky; when that branch breaks, so does the integrity of the human being.
Today, if many people compress Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or any other special day into a single day and emphasize it, there is no real meaning of that day. Because love cannot be compressed into one day, Mother cannot be compressed into one day, nothing sacred in human beings can be compressed into one day. Most of the time, such days only show an address. “There is a big sale, run and get what you need.” This is the language of consumption, not of love. It has nothing to do with the sacredness of love. Love cannot be reduced to an advertising poster, a campaign slogan, a call to shop. Love is a reality that is born in the human soul and grows in the human soul, it cannot be bought and sold from outside. Love is not found on a store shelf, love is water drawn from the deep well within oneself.
A woman is a birth gate, a goddess who creates, grows, carries and transforms. Half of the society is female, and it is the woman who gives birth to the other half. As long as life exists, there is the Mother, and since every second of life is precious, every second is precious for the Mother. Because she is the representation on earth of the One who brought us into existence. Love is born from her, lives and breathes with her. So to compress both love and motherhood into a single day is against the spirit of reality. Love is a sacred worship for me, and this worship will continue as long as I exist. I cannot donate it to a commodity, nor to a person, nor to anything, because love is a reality to be lived, not to be donated. Love is the purest form of respect for one's own being, without which one cannot even look at oneself in the mirror.
I always exist, and love is the basis of life and will always exist. The other half of my life, my dear comrade, is always present in my life with love and this worship is for me and for the other half of my life, my dear comrade. Love is not two people holding on to each other, but two souls meeting in the same reality. I carry in my soul not for a day but for a lifetime my Goddess, the gate of my birth, my Mother who brought me into being. I will never support markets established to fill the coffers of others. I do not diminish my values by advertising for anyone else, because my values are my truth and truth is never discounted. Love is a lifetime, it cannot fit into a day, it cannot fit into a campaign, it cannot be written under a label. Love is the greatest agreement that human beings make with their own being, and when that agreement is broken, the connection of human beings with the whole universe is broken.
