The song was performed and recorded in the recording studio of the Konya Turkish Sufi Music Ensemble with a choir of primary school children from Konya, and a video recording was made in the Sultan Veled Concert Hall of the Mevlana Cultural Center.
The lyrics of the song ”Long Live Tayyip Dede” are as follows:
“Your love is always in my heart
Long live Grandpa Tayyip
We love you so much
Long live Grandpa Tayyip
Who loves his homeland very much and works hard for us
Valiant, brave grandfather who brought the enemy to his knees
My little heart is with you
Stand up straight, don't bend, protect my homeland, the enemy is always on guard
You distributed tablets, books
You always put us first
First you said children
How much you loved us
I don't want to be sick, I don't like hospitals at all Thanks to my Tayyip grandfather, I won't be short of doctors.
July 15th is an epic Tayyip my grandfather is the Commander-in-Chief
He's a real hero
Steel-hearted shield
Living happily, happily, running and playing
My only wish is to grow old in my homeland.”

Artists were forced to be spectators
When Ömer Faruk Belviranlı was acting director general, he forced the artists of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and the State Polyphonic Music Choir to attend the Young Voice Competition organized by the ministry as spectators with an official letter, which drew reaction. Belviranlı, who was acting as the General Directorate of Fine Arts at the time, had instructed all artists to attend the competition in full with the emphasis “with the participation of our Minister” and with an urgent note.
