Lies Speak, Fear Silences, Truth Shouts Silently

0:00 0:00

Every morning for the last two years we have woken up to the same scene:

An anonymous pencil pusher, ink merchants disguised as journalists, propaganda officers with diplomas selling comfortable ignorance hiding behind the veil of academics, on-screen puppets serving lies in a glamor package...

They all have one thing in common: They can't rest without performing an “attack on Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu” ritual before starting their day.

And why?

Why are they so angry?

Why are they so afraid?

The answer is actually as simple as we all know:

Because if he speaks, the truth will come out.

Because if he speaks, the people become the agenda.

Because if he speaks, he will be asked about what was stolen.

And worst of all: People start thinking.

That's why they tried to silence him.

But

He said.

He asked:

“Where is the 128 billion dollars?”

“How was the people's property lent to the forbidden gangs?”

“For whom does justice exist in this country?”

Because they thought that if he kept quiet, the issue would be closed. But the question grew and grew. Every penny that was stolen, every hope that was lost, every table that shrunk has been accounted for. Not only the political power, but also those who sat at the same table, those who smiled in the same photo, were about to be held accountable. That is why they wanted to silence him. Because if he speaks, not only his opponents, but also those who walk the same path must look in the mirror. They were afraid lest that mirror be broken, lest there be a confrontation.

Because if Kılıçdaroğlu speaks, the shiny showcases covering the poverty of the people will crack. Because if he speaks, everyone will see who condemns this nation to the leftovers of their own table. Because if he speaks, the dark pages not only of today but also of yesterday will be opened, not with unknown perpetrators but with realities whose perpetrators are remembered and whose faces are visible. And most importantly: Because if he speaks, the nation's memory will be refreshed. Whatever is wanted to be forgotten will be remembered again.

Isn't that why all this effort?

Silencing, discrediting, isolating...

Because if his voice is raised once more, the questions will multiply: Why is this country condemned to darkness? Why do young people fill their suitcases with their dreams before leaving the country? Why is the wealth of a handful of people growing at the expense of the poverty of millions? And these questions will turn into a great reckoning, not of a leader, but of an era.

This is the real issue: It is not a person they want to silence, but a collective memory born out of questions.

Because in this country there is no accountability for stolen money

We have seen many similar examples throughout history.

We know very well how those who stand for the people are targeted.

Leaders who wanted to give land to the poor, who wanted to bring justice to the people, who wanted to end exploitation suffered the same fate.

Here are a few striking examples from history...

Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus - 2nd century BC, Rome

They wanted to distribute land to poor farmers.

When the Roman aristocracy realized that their “untouchable wealth” would be touched, they slaughtered the brothers.

Julius Caesar - 44 BC, Rome

Empowered by popular support, he wanted to reform for the benefit of the people.

Aristocrats and vested interests united and he was assassinated in an assassination that has been told throughout history.

Wat Tyler - 1381, England

He was the leader of peasants rebelling against feudal taxes.

He never got up from the table where he met with the King's men.

Thomas Müntzer - 1525, Germany

He defended the peasant's freedom and justice.

For speaking for the poor  tortured and executed.

Charles III - 1649, England

He confronted those who wanted constitutional rule against absolute power.

He was tried and executed.

Patrice Lumumba - 1961, Congo

Its independence, national unity and anti-imperialist stance ran counter to Western interests.

He was overthrown by a coup, he was brutally murdered.

Salvador Allende - 1973, Chile

Land reform, social justice, the rights of the poor...

He was ousted from power in a US-backed coup.

History is very generous in extending the list.

These examples tell us this:

Anyone and everyone who is on the side of the people, who demands equality, who goes after the money stolen from the people has been targeted. These attacks are the panic of money, power and capital circles that seem untouchable.

Throughout history, powerful elites could not tolerate their wealth being questioned.

Today, they are not going to stop...

These attacks are the panic of money, power and the seemingly untouchable circles of capital.

This is where the question arises:

Is what we call change really a transformation, or is it just a changing of the guard where only the faces at the cash register change?

If the goal is to reproduce the order we are tired of and to make up the same wrong with new names, then the painful cycle of history will begin again.

Real change does not start by changing the seats of power, but by overthrowing them for the people.

But do we have the courage to demand it?

If a revolution is nothing more than a change of power, it is not a change, it is a transfer of power. The real change and revolution is not to create a new king, but to overthrow the kingdom.

Because slavery does not end when the king changes; unless the system that creates slavery is destroyed...
