The CHP's congress process is far beyond an ordinary internal party debate. This process literally looks like a “return to the scene of the crime”. The shadow of the “absolute nullity” decision is forcing those who want to keep their seats to write new scenes and new scenarios. This organization, which they call a congress, is actually a shelter to escape political and legal confrontation.
It's a picture we've been used to for years: dark calculations, new collaborations, new betrayals, new bargains... Now the same game is back on stage. But they are not fooling anyone, because everything that is going on behind the scenes is actually the manifestation of a fear of confrontation.
Those who made a fuss about why Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu does not speak started to object to him when he said “CHP must be purified”. So what, shouldn't he call the dirty dirty?
This situation reminds Erdoğan of a promise he made years ago. When it was Kılıçdaroğlu's turn to be vaccinated, he said, “I will get my vaccination as a normal citizen.” When Erdoğan said, “You said you would not get vaccinated,” Kılıçdaroğlu's answer was clear:
“Well, it's time, I got vaccinated as a normal citizen.”
Now it is the same situation: the time for purification has come and Mr. Kemal has spoken.
But the pressure is different.
They are trying to create a perception as if Kılıçdaroğlu had filed the lawsuit, as if it was he who objected. The meaning of the pressure to “come out and say that the congress and the current administration are clean” is very clear: No one can come out and say that they themselves are clean.
Because everyone knows that there are more questions, more suspicions, more hidden truths under that process. That's why they want Kılıçdaroğlu to utter the word “cleanup”; they expect him to atone for the shame that is sticking to them.
This is a clear declaration of hypocrisy and rottenness within the CHP. The congress has ceased to be a ground for democracy and reckoning; it has turned into a stage for mentalities that want to hide their crimes. “Fake cleansing” congresses are being held to cover up injustices, conspiracies and ugly negotiations.
The game going on inside the party today is the dirtiest reflection of the psychology of being both guilty and powerful. The only concern of those who shout “we are the victims” is to protect their seats and rent schemes. Therefore, what is being done is not a convention; it is an attempt to cover up an open pollution.
Let us not forget: Law does not only operate in courtrooms. The conscience of society is also a court. And in the midst of so many lies, so many cover-ups, society has already made its decision.

The “declaration of cleanliness” expected from Kılıçdaroğlu is actually an indication of how much this structure has been avoiding cleaning. This dirty spiral can only be solved with a real reckoning, transparency and sincerity.
Whether it is the 39th congress or the 49th, as long as there is no confrontation, each one will only cover a bigger betrayal.
And the public
No longer does it give preference to fake cleansing theaters, empty slogans and distraction tactics.
This process will go down in Turkey's political history as a shame.
Sooner or later, everyone will have to face their own confrontation.
