During his 13-year tenure as the chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has never been accused of any irregularities or similar negativities in the municipalities affiliated to his party. During this period, an honest and principled management approach was exhibited.
It was only afterwards that the cadre of betrayers came into play, claiming that there was a conspiracy against him and that he had been dismissed.
After this process, the party's leadership changed, new cadres were formed and allegations of corruption and irregularities were raised in the public opinion.
This has damaged the party's reputation in the eyes of society and created a negative impression in the eyes of 86 million citizens.
Today, it is believed that Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is the strongest leader who can eliminate this negative perception, regroup the party and inspire confidence.
It is of utmost importance that he, together with his experienced staff, takes office again, revitalizes the party and builds a strong team capable of governing the country in the first upcoming elections.
Turkey needs leaders who act with integrity and justice.
