Community Turkey | PACT, Mişar Art, SineRo and Patili Direniş came together to organize this year's 4-12
In October, it aims to address animal rights from different aspects with activities that touch the coexistence of all species.
The group aims to break out of this circle not only for the dogs imprisoned in shelters by law, but also for the people trapped in confined spaces; to come together, to create memory, to highlight the lost culture of life and all the components of living together.
The event working group aims to make animals, whose habitats are being destroyed day by day, visible again, to remind us that togetherness is an integral part of life, and to make joint productions with everyone who crosses paths with animals.
Event Program:
Shelter / Rehabilitation Center Visits
Visits to shelters and rehabilitation centers will take place during the week of October 4-12. Visits
Afterwards, short videos will be prepared and shared on social media accounts.
With these shares, positive aspects will be highlighted, while solutions and dialog suggestions will be developed for improvement requests.
Requests will be followed up and mutual support will be provided where possible.

Animal Life - Exhibition
Animals and humans are inseparable parts of symbiosis. The exhibition is based on this unity,
The exhibition, consisting of the participating artists' paintings of animals that have touched their own lives, will meet with the audience at Tokatlıyan Han on October 10-12.
The exhibition aims to go beyond the classical understanding of an exhibition and create an interactive and living space where visitors can make drawings of the animals they live with. Participants will not only watch the artworks but will also be invited to be part of the process. This event aims to rethink the bond between humans and animals, to remind us of the value of coexistence and to emphasize that the streets are the stage of common life.
Within the scope of the exhibition, the film “The Adventures of Lady Çok Şükür'ün Maceralar”, written by Nilüfer Perihan Kurtoğlu and directed by Murat Saraçoğlu, will be screened on October 11.
Following the six-part, 30-minute movie, Murat Prosçiler and Sevi Algan, the author of the movie and the voice-over team, will meet with the audience.

One Cup Food, One Cup Water
“With the ”One Cup of Food, One Cup of Water" campaign, food and water will be distributed throughout the district.
The campaign defends the principle that no living creature can be left hungry or thirsty. Thus, the right to life of all living beings will be protected against feeding bans and polarizing practices that have no legal basis in public spaces.
