Dilek Bozkurt / Halis Kahriman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mert Holding, who is engaged in politics in Esenyurt and Beylikdüzü region, became Deputy Chairman of Political Affairs of Yeniden Refah Party.
Kahriman, who was previously AKP Beylikdüzü Mayoral Candidate Candidate, switched to the Deva Party founded by Ali Babacan when he was not nominated as a candidate and served as Esenyurt District Chairman. Kahriman, who also parted ways with Deva Party, this time turned his route to the Welfare Party again.

Halis Kahriman, a businessman known for his commercial and political activities on the west side of Istanbul, has become one of the most concrete examples of the shifting balances in Turkish politics. Kahriman, who directed his career as a Beylikdüzü Ak Parti Mayoral Candidate Candidate, then played a role in the opposition wing by serving as the Esenyurt District Chairman of the DEVA Party.

Kahriman's warm relations with the CHP in the past and his “open to alliances” image caused controversy on both sides of the political spectrum.
