“LAST YEAR”
I emphasize: “EXACTLY 1 YEAR BEFORE”, at the end of 2024, entering 2025...
Minimum wage 17.002 TL.
And Mr. Özgür came up with a slogan while the minimum wage negotiations were going on, even before the negotiations had started. He came up with a rhyming slogan with the concern of developing a populist discourse for his base:
“Our minimum wage demand is 30, if it is below that, we are out” He said.
He used this slogan everywhere. Mr. Özgür, who went out to his base with a new show every day, unfortunately could not turn the light off and on, could not show the red card sufficiently, and when he disappointed his own base, he started to say “30 or we don't exist” with the excitement of a new show.
And no one asked: “If you don't have 30, what do you lack, Özgür Bey?” Moreover, this question was not asked when normalization was in full swing.
Seeing that the public was far from questioning, Mr. Özgür continued his game and continued to give sleeping pills to his own base by pretending to be the opposition every now and then.
While Mr. Özgür was giving sleeping pills to his own base, workers were treated to 22,104 TL.
“The sleeping pill of the slogan ”If there is no 30, we don't exist" started to take effect, and neither Özgür Bey nor the CHP base made a peep.
Yes, Mr. Özgür and all the players in this game continue to pretend to be “fake” opposition and give sleeping pills to the public. The same scenario is being repeated.
Mr. Özgür waved a figure to make the minimum wage, which was 22.104 TL this year, 39.000 TL.
Why 39 thousand TL? No one knows. It's impossible to know what made Mr. Özgür stop at 39. Why didn't he say 40? No one knows that either.
Or why did it pass the 38 threshold? No one knows!
If it's a flat 40, it won't be credible. If 38, he must have said 39 because the 38th Shady Congress would be a laughing stock. Or maybe he flipped a coin, who knows.
This year, let alone last year, this people could not even get 30.
Yes, Mr. Ozgur, what do you say?
It seems that your minimum wage policy is a figure thrown out without any study and with a little bit of tipsiness at raki tables.
For two years in a row, you have failed to come up with anything close. Even the figure you said was “30” last year is not even there this year. I'm just waving the economic program...
Apparently, when the government said 3 years ago that we will implement the “Chinese model economy” and that “there will be a general (average) wage, not a minimum wage”, you were thinking about which appetizer to eat and how many ice cubes to put in my whiskey... Anyway...
Nothing has changed on the Özgür Bey front. While more than half of the country is struggling with hunger, poverty and misery, Mr. Özgür's agenda is more personal.
Theft, corruption, bribery, profiteering, looting... A behind-the-scenes bargain that the public does not see... I don't know if this bargain has captured Mr. Özgür. But if he is becoming one of the buttresses of the government, if he is being a willing accomplice to Erdoğan, what comes to mind is that the opposition has been taken captive.
There is so much to write, so much to tell.
When the theater of normalization did not work, it seems that Özgür Bey has been given the task of pretending to be the opposition and lulling his own base to sleep with populist shows.
It is clear that the better he does his job, the further away he will be from the outcome he fears.
What is the reason for the silence, and more importantly, the lack of action, when the people are condemned to a figure below the hunger limit?
I think the LAST FORTRESS that the people will go after and cling to as their last hope is under occupation.
And let's repeat it clearly, let's leave the last sentence here:
CHP is occupied by a criminal organization.
The crimes are known to the government and used as leverage.
Mr. Özgür and his administration have been given the task of putting the opposition voters to sleep.
Mr. Özgür does his duty to avoid the same fate as Mr. Ekrem.
But the result will not change.
