HALKWEB-Reactions to the provocative action against the Turkish flag by YPG supporters on the Syrian side on the Nusaybin-Kamışlı border line continue.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the 7th President of the Republican People's Party (CHP), described the attempt as a provocation and said, “I call on our nation to use common sense in the face of these provocations.”.
The Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, during his visit after the liberation of Izmir, pointed to the Greek flag that was laid under his feet for him to trample,
“The flag is the honor of a nation; it is not to be laid down or trampled under any circumstances. Raise it!”

Kılıçdaroğlu's post reads as follows:
“The Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, during his visit after the liberation of Izmir, pointed to the Greek flag that was laid under his feet for him to chew on and said, “The flag is the honor of a nation; it cannot be laid on the ground and trampled under any circumstances. Raise it!” and reacted by saying.
This is our tradition and our view of the flag.
The honor and dignity of the glorious Turkish flag comes first for us; it is closed to discussion and provocation.
I condemn the attack on our flag and call on our nation to use common sense in the face of these provocations.”
