It will be great if we can live in the discovery of everyday life without getting too caught up in the flow, without leaving ethics and morality outside the door and, if possible, knowing our limits!

In everyday life, the concepts of ethics and morality are often confused with each other. Ethics does not mean morality; it refers to a different field than morality.

The concept of ethics originates from the Greek word “ethos” and includes various meanings such as character, habit, custom, tradition and the basic attitude of being virtuous.

The philosophical content of the word ethos corresponds in Greek to the development of a good and ideal “way of being” or ”the search for a wise course of action”.

Studies on communication generally examine ethics under two different categories: normative and descriptive ethical approaches. For ethics, it can also be stated that it is about the individual's ability to take responsibility for the behaviors they perform.

The Turkish dictionary defines ethics as the science of traditions, the set of behaviors that parties in various professions should follow or avoid. Ethics not only determines the basic principles of morality, but also strives to establish norms that will guide individual and social behavior.

Ethics is the knowledge of ”values”, morality is the knowledge of ”rules“... Both impose binding judgments on behavior. Moral rules are not easily debated by the individual, while values are open to interpretation.

While moral rules express the norms that the individual is ready for in the social structure into which he/she is born; value knowledge consists of the answers to the questions that people ask in the process of trying to understand the social world into which they are born.

Morality is simply a set of rules that individuals are obliged to follow, while ethics is a set of principles that people practicing a certain professional occupation must follow...
The word ”ethics” is sometimes used synonymously with the words ”goodness” or "righteousness".

I wanted to deliberately touch upon the definitions of ethics and morality and the difference between them. Recently, we have been witnessing many incidents where these two concepts have lost their value. Sometimes with a social media post, sometimes with a news report, sometimes with our experiences in the events we come into contact with individually...

The society we were born into has codes we are accustomed to, its sacred... Values have changed shape and the pleasure of ”selfishness” has become the basis of human life. As such, due to individual pleasure and the ambition to desire more, people are immersed in cruel dreams with the temporary whims of daily life far from ethical and moral rules.

The preaching of moderation in behavior has become outdated; the desire for ”power, money, greed” has implanted in man the unconsciousness that he has the right to usurp the rights of individuals by stepping on others...

In addition to this, hate speech continues to increase its destructive and exclusionary effect with its form of expression that encourages, defends and justifies hostility day by day.
Regardless of whether they are educated or uneducated, the majority who live outside the rules of ethics and morality will one day lose whatever they have achieved without labor.

As citizens, we have a great duty; ”To be vigilant“... Without filtering the accuracy of every information given to us in the face of authority, it is of great benefit not to overestimate or underestimate any event or those who are declared the heroes of the event.

It is best to keep our reactions under control, with restraint...

It will be great if we can live in the discovery of everyday life without getting too caught up in the flow, without leaving ethics and morality outside the door and, if possible, knowing our limits!

People with zero morals, who worship money, who do not have merit are walking among us, friends. Not giving them a chance is possible with our awakening to the truth. The sleep of the mind gives birth to monsters, let's keep our minds in check.

A life free from self-interest is an important value. The claim that one's self-interest is for the benefit of all is considered a value when it is considered in terms of strengthening one's spirituality and personal development, while the statement that the benefit of those who fill their pockets under the lies of ”the interests of society” is beneficial for everyone is not rational, it cannot be.

Let's call it a parable for those who understand. With love to everyone who reads by absorbing...
