Either Political Blindness or Conscious Denial

It is necessary to tell the truth even if it hurts. As in the Azeri folk song: it hurts but does not hide the truth. This is what I see when I look at politics. Not without touching it. Not without touching its dirty face.

Despite years of black propaganda, the siege from inside and outside, the unspecified number of evil centers and the endless foot games within the party, 48 percent is not a result to be underestimated. This picture is a success. To ignore this is either political blindness or willful denial.

The problem is that this success has not been read correctly.

The social relevance of the Sixth Table was forgotten. Politics was mistaken for a stage. The current administration and the circles applauding it are marketing the result as a “success”. However, the issue is not the number; it is the message. And that message is not being heard.

“An air of optimism is generated by inflated figures under the name of ”surveys". The administration is being distracted in Wonderland. In reality, there is no common sense, no political will, no spirit.

More serious: The party has been reduced from being the hope of the people to the expectation of a single name. All the resources, all the effort is being poured into “gas rallies” to save the day. This lowers tension. It does not grow politics.

Politics is not done with applause. It is done with wisdom. It is done with courage. It is done with confrontation. No structure that does not face reality can be an alternative to power.

It is necessary to say it even if it hurts:
The problem is not only outside.

The problem is the reality that is being ignored inside.
