Ganire Pashayeva, who was hospitalized in the capital Baku on September 24 with a diagnosis of hypotonic condition of unknown origin and was under treatment in intensive care, died.
Ganire Pashayeva was born on March 24, 1975 in Tovuz, Azerbaijan.
Pashayeva, who graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University, Department of Pediatrics and Baku State University, Department of International Law, started working in television in 1998.
In 2005, Pashayeva became the head of the Public Relations Department of the Heydar Aliyev Fund.
Shortly afterwards, in the parliamentary elections held on November 6, 2005, Pashayeva was elected MP for Tovuz and held different positions in the parliament.
Pashayeva was most recently the head of the National Assembly's Culture Committee.
Pashayeva participated in numerous events in Turkey.
Paşayeva, who has written and spoken extensively on the Turkic world, argued that “the strength of Turkey means the strength of the Turkic world”.
Pashayeva was single and spoke English and Russian.
