Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk wrote about Perinaz Mahpeyker Yaman's consultancy at CHP that lasted less than 10 days and the discussions that emerged 3 months after her dismissal.
Referring to MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and Mehmet Ali Çelebi, who left the CHP and joined the AKP, Saygı reminded that some of the names who used the harshest expressions about Erdoğan and the AKP in the past are now in the AKP or in politics with the AKP, and pointed out that when such a situation occurs in the CHP, all hell breaks loose.

“KILIÇDAROĞLU IS BEING THREATENED”
One of the names closest to Kılıçdaroğlu is Bülent Kuşoğlu, who was his deputy when he was the General Director of SSK and is now his deputy chairman. When I spoke to him the other day, he said the following:
“This news comes from us. They are doing something politically, but it has gone as far as personal threats. So it has crossed the line. Also, in politics, before and during elections, if the chairman sees a benefit, he can work with any consultant he wants. Also, how far is this polarization going? For example, Kemal Bey is blamed for giving Mehmet Ali Çelebi a position in the party and putting him on the list of deputies. He brings in people from other parties and Kemal Bey is blamed again. There are still those who cannot see what the presidential system brings and want to maintain a small party mentality.”
THE KITCHEN OF POLITICS
‘They say ’you cannot enter the kitchen of politics'. But they are entering the kitchen. The chairman meets with someone who is unpleasant. There is such an understanding that you don't meet with anyone, you don't take a step, you don't go out.
He appointed Ms. Perinaz as an advisor to the president before the second round of the presidential elections. Her consultancy lasted only one week. On June 4, all consultancies were canceled. In this process, there are many people appointed by the chairman as advisors and coordinators. There are some work done by them in non-governmental organizations in certain places. The support of some segments was received. But unfortunately, it is very common among us to disclose everything, to pass everything out.
For example, Hasan Cengiz, President of the Eurasian Union of Local Authorities, has met with all party leaders, from the president to ministers and mayors, from Mr. Ekrem to mayors. We are dealing with different issues at a time when we should be focusing on the upcoming election.”
MS. PERINAZ: I AM BEING THREATENED
Perinaz Mahpeyker Yaman worked as a businesswoman in Batman. She wrote columns for a newspaper. She has been living in Ankara for the last 10 years, but maintains ties with Batman. It is stated that she previously applied for nomination from AKP.
I was going to ask CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu about the process of becoming an advisor, but at the beginning of the sentence he said, “We are going to Batman because my mother is sick.” Still, I persistently asked him, and he said the following:
“They can criticize me for being an advisor to Kılıçdaroğlu. But why are my children and family being attacked? I receive unbelievable threats and heavy comments with insulting content. We live in Turkey. How far we have gotten away from our own customs. They are dealing with a businesswoman, a mother. It is necessary to be respectful. It is not for every man to shine in business life and survive despite these crises. The threats made may evolve to different places when they touch my family and children, not me personally. I am not an unknown person. I received offers not only from CHP, but also from almost every party that said ‘Do politics with us’.
I FEEL SORRY FOR MR. KEMAL, NOT FOR MYSELF
I am criticized for being a consultant, but I do not feel sorry for myself, I feel sorry for what has been done to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, my children and my family. You know what is going on in this country. Just as I would feel sorry if you were harmed because of me, you would feel sorry if I were harmed because of you. I also feel sorry for what was done to Kılıçdaroğlu because of me.”
