CHP Municipalities and Imamoglu Reality

0:00 0:00

Politics in Turkey has long been on the agenda with controversial topics. However, the recent operations against CHP municipalities and the allegations surrounding Ekrem İmamoğlu are no longer an “ordinary political debate”.

There is a clear picture:
Either there is a big organization,
or everyone is making the same mistake at the same time.

And let's be clear...
To say “coincidence” where there are so many claims is to underestimate reason.

IT'S NOT JUST POLITICS

The allegations against Ekrem İmamoğlu are not to be taken lightly.
“criminal organization”, “structuring”, “system building”...

These are no ordinary allegations. If even a fraction of these allegations are true, the issue is no longer just the case of a mayor, it turns directly into a political system debate.

But there is a more critical point.

THE NOMINATION PROCESS: WHO BECAME A CANDIDATE AND FOR WHAT?

In the March 31st elections, there were dozens of CHP candidates.
So how were these names determined?

The most critical allegation circulating in the rumor mill is this:
Was there any money traffic during the nomination process?

If someone has paid to become a mayor, this is not just an ethical problem. It is a direct surrender of the will of the people to money.

Because that seat is occupied not by the vote of the people, but by the power of money.

RALLIES AND MONEY TRAFFIC: UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

The rally process initiated by Ekrem İmamoğlu after the local elections is the most concrete pillar of this debate.

Private planes, helicopters, giant stages...
Big organizations in every province...

Let's do a simple calculation:
The hourly cost of a helicopter is about 10 thousand dollars.
For a few hours of round-trip use, this figure reaches 30 thousand dollars.

Considering 81 provinces, the cost of transportation alone exceeds millions of dollars.
Add to this the stage, crew, accommodation and other expenses and you have a huge budget.

And now the most critical question:

Where does Ekrem Imamoglu get this money?

The salary of the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is obvious.
Since there is no official candidate, there is no fundraising.
Funding on this scale from the CHP headquarters is clearly not visible, and even such financial support cannot officially exist.

Then there is only one possibility:
Either there is an undisclosed source,
or a financing model that is hidden from the public.

WHY IS THE HEADQUARTERS SILENT?

The silence of the CHP Headquarters in the face of such serious allegations is also striking.

What a comprehensive internal audit,
nor a statement that satisfies the public...

In politics, silence is sometimes the most powerful confession.

WHAT DOES THE EXPANSION OF OPERATIONS MEAN?

Today, the operations against CHP municipalities are expanding one by one.
This suggests that the incidents may be systematic rather than individual.

Because if there is a centralized influence in the nomination process, it is not limited to one city.

When the fate of a mayor is in the hands of another structure, there is not politics but a system of interests.

THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS

Of course, it is not right to lump all names together.
Zeydan Karalar, Mayor of Adana Metropolitan Municipality,
There is a strong belief that names such as Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar are outside the scope of these allegations.
And other exceptions.

But a few exceptions do not change the overall picture.

CONCLUSION: EITHER THE SYSTEM WILL COLLAPSE OR THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT

Turkey now has two paths ahead of it:

Either the Ekrem İmamoğlu case will collapse and all these allegations will fall apart,
Or this process will deepen and a structure that extends to many municipalities will emerge.

But no matter what happens, one fact remains unchanged:

If politics is shaped by money,
There is not democracy, there is a power relationship.

And it must not be forgotten;
If money replaces the will of the nation, it is not just one party that loses, but the whole country.
