Some comments claimed that the declaration did not reflect the common view of 81 provincial chairs.
CHP Kahramanmaras MP Ali Öztunç made a comment supporting these allegations on TV100.
Asked about the declaration, Öztunç said, “Today 81 provincial chairs issued a declaration. However, we know that 81 provincial chairs did not sign it. We are also talking to our friends. Not 81, that number, but let's assume 81. Everyone knows this.”.
“Some provincial presidents I talked to say ‘we did not participate’”
Öztunç responded to journalist Gürkan Hacır's question “What is the number?” by saying, “Let me not say anything in terms of numbers. Some provincial presidents I talked to say, ‘we didn't contribute, we didn't participate’. But such situations can happen in parties, such things happen in parties.”.
