CHP Malatya Provincial Organization cut off all contact with Yazıhan Municipality, while 6 more people, including a deputy mayor of Yazıhan Municipality and some municipal council members, were referred to the CHP Provincial Disciplinary Board for expulsion, claiming that they acted contrary to the party statute.
It is learned that CHP Malatya Provincial Disciplinary Board asked for defense from the referred members and then will convene to make a decision. Meanwhile, a decision on Yazıhan Mayor Abdulvahap Göçer, who was referred to the CHP Supreme Disciplinary Board for final expulsion, is expected to be made on February 5.
The 6 municipal council members who welcomed the call committee at Malatya Airport were referred to discipline without any official justification. Those who carried out this process are not called “execution teams” for nothing.
