Mansur Yavaş said, “Today, we are going through such a period that we have neither a chance nor a remedy other than being united and together. I have always said this: This is not just a matter for our party, it is the responsibility of all opposition parties. Because if we do not act together, we will not only lose the present but also our future. Even our grandchildren will not forgive us.” In my opinion, this is a statement that is not at all difficult to understand and too true to be disputed... As long as you have enough common sense to get rid of yourself, your factions and partisanship and think about your country. Unfortunately, there are very few people, both in the upper echelons of the CHP and in its base, who deign to make the effort to have this maturity. I can even hear the so-called revolutionary pedants who might say, “Are we going to listen to the words of that fascist?” just because Mansur Yavaş uttered these words! “If you are a revolutionary, go ahead and revolutionize! Instead of running after jobs in the municipalities, instead of engaging in all kinds of foot games in the districts...” and pass these hypocrites by!
EVERYONE HAS TO THINK OF HOME FIRST
Let's come to the real issue... Turkey is at one of the most dangerous crossroads in its history and unfortunately, there is no leading political force at the moment to organize a front to eliminate these dangers. Shouldn't this responsibility lie with the CHP, the founding political element of the Republic of Turkey? Surely not the MHP, which was founded by the Pentagon and NATO! If that happens, this country could end up as Iraq, Syria or Lebanon, while those who have received the order to put the final nail in the coffin with the discussions on the new constitution are in power!.
Therefore, there is no other solution to what is going on within the CHP except for all the supporters to come together and ‘come up with a solution in unity’. Isn't it enough to sober up just by watching the compulsive immoralists on TGRT or seeing the headlines of Akit, which has the consistency of used toilet paper? I wish the issue was only limited to the manipulations of those dastardly partisan media, but unfortunately it is not. There are some news and comments in the opposition media that rival the disgrace of Akit, Yeni Şafak and TGRT.
On the one hand, there are the ‘attached’ journalists who are cheerleaders on the one hand, taking the ‘veteran’ journalists who teach wisdom and try to design the CHP as they see fit. Probably one of the most obvious examples of this is İsmail Saymaz... His article titled ‘I am facing the feeling of being betrayed’ is just such an article. There is a silly nursery rhyme, ‘The Turkish nation is on the side of the victimized’, and I guess it was decided to write it with that logic. If that were the case, that is, if this nation was on the side of the victimized, the socialists would probably already be in power. There is no such thing, but cheerleading is the point, so he writes.
WITH THESE, WHO NEEDS OTHER ENEMIES OF THE REPUBLIC!
On the other hand, two journalists who have been trying to fish in murky water for years, now appearing on TGRT, are on the rocks and making all kinds of provocations. Why should I not mention their names; Barış Yarkadaş and Gürkan Hacır. And then there are those who emulate them in the opposition media, big and small. Whether it's to get a job at the municipality or to get a job in a bigger opposition media where they can earn better salaries and royalties, they keep shaking their heads.
The mob nestled in CHP district organizations, which has neither ideological formation nor morals, attacks with unspeakable curses. This is not only against the former CHP chairman, but also against whomever they are against... It is rare to see such a low level!
As for those who write scripts without even knowing the meaning of the nonsense word ‘absolute nullity’, they are either directed by someone or they are trying to market what they hear from here and there with their penniless brains. All of these people not only harm the CHP but also betray this homeland.
Meanwhile, the CHP seems to have achieved the highest vote support in its history. No matter what conspiracies the People's Alliance concocts, it cannot change this tendency of the people. It is trying to find a story to tell, but even ‘laying down arms’ is not taken seriously by a large section of the public. There is zero trust in the economic management, the judiciary and the bureaucracy! In such a situation, when it is so close for the first time to taking advantage of this situation and getting the votes to come to power on its own, what should be expected from all CHP members? Shouldn't they put aside internal squabbles and fight against the aggressive government with the support of the people? And why can't this be done when it is so clear and obvious?
ARE THERE NO ‘KNOW-IT-ALLS’ TO PUT AN END TO THE FIGHT?
For example, why should someone, maybe some old executives, intervene and put an end to the current war within the CHP... “Who are they?” you ask? Well, whoever they are, be it Hikmet Çetin, Murat Karayalçın or someone else, the best thing is that they are all together... Not because they have a very successful, faultless past, but just to get the party out of this nauseating situation!
Whatever compromise can be reached between the factions, if necessary, each side will have to make even more concessions than necessary to get out of this impasse. Immediate solutions will not yield the best results, but this is the only thing that can be done now! Anyone who acts like a fanatic of Ekrem İmamoğlu, Özgür Özel or Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, dragging the party into an inextricable maelstrom and causing the party to miss the historical opportunity that has now been seized, will be doing the greatest disservice to the Republic of Turkey...
And for the farmer in Yozgat, the retiree in Izmir, the teacher in Adana, the shopkeeper in Trabzon, it doesn't matter which faction will govern the CHP. As long as this country gets rid of this freak called the presidential government system, every day
Let the economy, which is getting worse and worse, recover a little... That is the simple wish of this nation. Veli or Ali makes no difference.
THERE IS A WAY OUT OF THIS QUAGMIRE WITHOUT DROWNING
There is still an opportunity. There is a possibility that the government may prefer to postpone the hearing on June 30th and drag the matter out for a while longer, so that the CHP can further infight within itself. In that case, it would be possible to end the fight immediately and foil this conspiracy. Didn't it happen? The verdict came out?... Then the factions will come together and agree on a common formula. Whatever that formula is... Either Kılıçdaroğlu will come back as the party's chairman and go to a congress as soon as possible and a new administration will be elected that will include all segments instead of the hegemony of one group, or the party will continue with such a polyphonic administration under the leadership of an interim chairman that everyone agrees on. Or Özgür Özel will again be the leader, but a balance will be established in the administration. And then?... Continue the struggle with a front that will include other opposition parties... The struggle is not about eating your own head, all those who did that went down in history as either ‘fools’ or ‘traitors’! We should not forget this...
ADDITIONAL FORMULA AGAINST MORAL, POLITICAL AND IDEOLOGICAL COLLAPSE
That's all I can think of when I think like a patriot. And what else?... After this intra-party fight is over, it will be seen how important political morality and ideological clarity are. So, no matter which formula I mentioned above, the CHP will not be perfect. So, someone should set out for another party... Just like in Germany, for example. Maybe like the Bundis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW)... Of course the name shouldn't be so ridiculous! They realized that neither the Greens nor Die Linke would work, so they founded this party. The important thing is not that it got around 4.5 percent of the vote, but that it has an effect on both of these parties to question their existence and return to their factory settings. Gradually, of course... If they don't return to their factory settings, then it is there as a ready and waiting address. Turkey does not have such a luxury, yes, but there is a possibility. Such a party could be founded, it would have the potential to pass the threshold, and it could enter the elections in alliance with the CHP. Both the moral decadence within the CHP would decrease and someone would have to take steps for ideological clarity. Would that be bad?
