AKP MP Alpay Özalan's social media advisor announced his resignation on Twitter.
Making statements about Özalan, Murat Sarıca said, “While he called me 40 times a day before the election, he did not even bother to call me during the earthquake yesterday. Alpay Özalan, who doesn't have a clue about politics, marketed everything I prepared to President @RTErdogan and all other politicians as “I am preparing it myself”. What can you say to such a man who thinks of nothing but himself and his own interests?” He said.

I have been working as a social media consultant and copywriter for 4 years. I have increased the number of followers from 28 thousand to around 500 thousand on Twitter alone. While I could not put 2 words together, it was on the agenda....

Sarıca included the following statements in his message:
“I have never seen a person as ungrateful, disloyal and disrespectful as @alpayozalan35 in my life. I have been working as a social media consultant and copywriter for 4 years. I have increased his number of followers from 28 thousand to around 500 thousand on Twitter alone. Every word in his social media posts belongs to me, every word in his videos belongs to me. Although I had been thinking of quitting my job for the last 2 years, I was patient for the presidential election. All my other jobs were disrupted because I was a victim of the earthquake and although he knew this, he was unfair. After the election, he distanced himself with the comfort of having crossed the bridge. I called him last week and told him I would not work with him. He neither thanked me for my efforts, nor asked for my forgiveness. Lastly, he shamelessly did not pick up my phone as if I had wronged him. While he called me 40 times a day before the election, he did not even bother to call me during the earthquake yesterday. Alpay Özalan, who has no knowledge of politics, marketed everything I prepared to President @RTErdogan and all other politicians as “I am preparing it myself”. There is nothing you can say to such a man who thinks of nothing but himself and his own interests. Do I regret not quitting in time? Absolutely not. Because this election was 1000 times more important to me than my personal interests. Not 4 years, I would sacrifice 40 years for Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. But if I have done Alpay Özalan justice, it is not halal.”
