About 1.5 hours later, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz tagged the X accounts of former CHP chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, jailed Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, writing
“After the Turkish president proved that he is a paper tiger by not reacting to missiles fired from Iran into Turkish territory, he resorts to anti-Semitism and announces show trials against Israel's political and military leadership in Turkey. What an absurdity.
A member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a mass murderer of Kurds, accuses Israel of genocide for defending itself against its partners in Hamas. Israel will continue to defend itself with strength and determination. Erdogan would be better off sitting down and remaining silent.”

CHP's 7th President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu responded to Yisrael Katz, who tagged him in his post. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “It should not be forgotten that the Republic of Turkey is a state that gives notes, not a state that receives notes.”.
Kılıçdaroğlu's full statement is as follows:
“The attempt of a foreign country's official to direct the domestic politics, national will and state institutions of the Republic of Turkey is an unacceptable insolence. We strongly reject the statements of the Israeli government, which has become one of the main sources of instability in the region with its lawless practices and aggressive policies, on Turkey's domestic political life.
It is a striking contradiction that the political representatives of the massacring Israeli government are trying to cover up the attacks targeting children, women and civilians in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran and other parts of the region, while trying to lecture Turkey on democracy, law and politics.
Our expectation for the current Israeli administration is that when the day comes, they will be held accountable in front of international law and that they will be held accountable for their actions on the basis of law.
