DEM Party's Gergerlioğlu has proposed a law to remove the obstacles preventing convicted doctors and teachers from practicing their professions.
DEM Party Kocaeli MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu will introduce a bill tomorrow on the amendments to the Law on the Practice of Medicine and Medical Sciences and the Law on Private Education Institutions. It will be voted on in the General Assembly of Parliament.
Gergerlioğlu, who made statements about the law proposal on his social media account, said, “My law proposal to remove the obstacles to the unjust and unlawful convictions of physicians and teachers who have been convicted unjustly and unlawfully will be voted on the agenda of the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey tomorrow (Tuesday, 27.05.2025) after my speech in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.”
“This is not only for physicians and teachers; it is for our struggle against all unlawful decree laws. I expect ruling and opposition MPs to support the vote against this injustice.”
