Müge Anlı and journalist Burhan Akdağ were married in 1993 and welcomed their daughter Lidya in 2002. Anlı and Akdağ, who started to experience non-violent incompatibility after a while, divorced in 2008.
After their divorce, the two got back together and got married. However, this time the couple ended with Anlı's allegations of violence.
