The lifeless body of Narin, who went missing on August 21 last year in Tavşantepe village of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district, was found 19 days later in Eğertutmaz Creek, 1.5 kilometers from her home.
Mother Yüksel Güran, brother Enes Güran, uncle Salim Güran were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court.
While the file, which was approved by the Regional Court of Appeals, was waiting to be sent to the Court of Cassation, there was a surprise development regarding the incident. The lawyers of the Güran family sent the footage of the Dara-2 military base recorded at the time of the incident to a company abroad. The work to decode and enhance the footage has been completed. A 122-page report on the Dara-2 recordings was prepared.

HAVE YOU LEFT NARYN HILL?
In the conclusion section of the report, the following statements were made:
“The original and enhanced Daran-2 military base CCTV footage is authentic and has not been edited or tampered with at any point in the segment and shows continuity in the sequence of the clip frames. At 15:18:24, the Dara CCTV footage shows the victim Narin Guran being met by a person near her home.

Between 15:16:00 and 15:40:45, Dara-2 camera did not observe any movement towards the house of the victim Narin Güran. This suggests that the victim did not return home and was most likely abducted.

Between 15:14:00 and 15:42:00, Dara-2 camera did not observe any human or vehicular activity in the phase of Arif Güran's house. At 15:41:27 a dark colored (possibly red) vehicle was seen on the outer road, no other vehicles were visible during the time period in question.’
